I have had my '62 Falcon for the last 7 years. My dream, when i purchased the car, was to make a truly unique, old school ride. When everyone I know told me to drop a 302 in it, I said no. To be different I put in a 200 cubic inch inline 6 with 3 carburetors and a mild cam. So, to go with that engine, I needed a unique sound. I deliberated for a couple months over different style chambered mufflers and glasspacks. Finally, one day, I found your site. I was impressed with the sound bytes and the history of the company. So, I ordered just one muffler.
From the time i put it on the car, I was in love with the sound! My straight 6 doesn't sound at all like a blatty farm tractor, that most people associate with inline engines. It has an awesome, deep, rich tone. And, My wife and I both dig the sound as we cruise the local car shows.

'54 Buick Special
Hey Clark,
I finally have the muffler on my car and all the little leaks fixed and wow am I impressed with the sound. Porter's sound so good you have no need for a radio in the car, the sound of the exhaust is better than any song. I drove my car on the Lucky Bastards mystery cruise yesterday, put on approx 330 miles with the cruise and getting home, the exhaust note never got annoying it sounds just right.
It's not too loud, not to quiet, and the cackle it makes when you let off the gas is perfect. I'm sold on your mufflers, they will be on every classic car I own from now on. Here is a picture of my car ('54 Buick Special) also if you like to see what your mufflers are being installed on.
Thanks again,
Luke
'57 Chevy with Porters
Dear Clark and Teresa,
Just a short note to say that I'm extremely happy with the new Porters. As you know, I'm a little old school, having had this '57 since 1970. The mufflers I made back then, to fit the Hooker headers were getting a little tired but... I liked the look.
This is Jerry Felde, with his 1950 Mercury, "Poetry In Motion". We put dual Porter Mufflers on recently for him.
He is a well know MN Street Rod Assoc. member.

I had Porters on a Nova in the past and now I have them on my wagon. I loved them then and they sound even better now.

"Nadine" sounds sweet as hell with a Porter on her!
'39 Ford Coupe
Hi Clark,
I got the car back from the shop on Thursday. I got huge Goosebumps as I started the coupe and hear that sound. I was instantly 18 again, in the GTX. I stepped on the gas and the sweetest sound a car nut could hear reached my ears. I call them the blue things. I am so glad I checked on Google for the Porters. I was redoing the old Ford and something was missing. It was the sound of a real hot rod. The raw, wild sound of the Porters. I've owned the car for over 30 years. I am finally getting it just like I want. The blue things were the last and finishing touch. Thanks for keeping the sweet sounds of my lost youth alive.
Sincerely,
Mike Farmer

Porter on a Sierra
Hi Clark-
Just letting you know that I had the Porter installed on my Sierra last week and it’s sounding great – just what I was looking for! Toned it down just enough at initial startup while still sounding really nice cruising. I gave the muffler shop one of your cards and my recommendations.
